Over the last few years the number of farmers markets has been steadily rising. One market that has been around long before this trend started, is Borough Market. It is one of the oldest, dating as far back as the 11th century. Situated right next to London Bridge Station it’s easy to reach by public transport. In the market you find local producers, some of them offer free range and organic food. It’s a celebration of British produce.
The market is open Wednesday through Saturday. Opening and closing times differ, so be sure to check the website for further details. boroughmarket.org.uk
