In Malaysia we chose to combine two totally different destinations. First we went to the largest island of Asia: Borneo, to enjoy nature walks and visit the orang utans in Sepilok. Then off to the hustle and bustle of the capital, Kuala Lumpur to enjoy the food stalls and delicious street food.
Let’s be active for once and do some hiking! Bako National Park is the oldest park in the state of Sarawak, eastern Malaysia. It can only be reached by boat. It is popular for day-trips, but you can stay longer. Accommodations are available.
