Stavanger is the fourth largest city of Norway, the others are Oslo, Bergen and Trondheim. The region around Stavanger is an up and coming destination for urban city breaks. You can go visit Gamle Stavanger, the beautiful historical part of Stavanger, or explore the wilderness by visiting the Lysefjord and head to Preikestolen by boat or via a hiking tour. And of course there’s delicious food to enjoy! The best fresh fish and seafood from the region: sardines, mussels, halibut.
