Donsol used to be a small quiet village. That all changed when swimming with whale sharks became a tourist attraction. The biggest shark in the world with a length of 13 to 15 meters is also the biggest fish. WWF has been a partner in the Donsol whale shark tourism since 1998. At Sea Restaurant in Bonaire was crowned the best restaurant of the Caribbean by the Caribbean Journal. The Journal visited restaurants al over the Caribbean and from these travels compiled a list of the fifty best places to eat. Aletta van Beeck, born in The Netherlands, travelled to Costa Rica many years ago to learn more about sustainability. She found her way to Bonaire and created the lovely Aletta’s goat farm Semper Kontentu.
