Azores restaurants tips
Rotas da Ilha Verde is a small vegetarian restaurant with a living room feel. They serve the best food I had during my stay in the Azores. That’s why I had dinner there twice. Port wine tasting is what I enjoy most of all in Porto. The best place to try port? Visit the famous port houses. Fun, informative and tasty if you are in Porto. Brands like Sandeman, Offley, Graham’s, Kopke and Taylor probably sound familiar. At the Vila Nova de Gaia, the port houses are close together.

Stroll along the river Schelde and visit ‘t Eilandje. And enjoy! Read more »

Late summer in South Tyrol is also called the fifth season. In this season, you can enjoy the bountiful harvest of the end of the summer. In Brixen, Bressanone in Italian – that sounds more beautiful – I visit the bread and strudel market. With the panorama of the imposing Dolomites in the background, we sit at the Friday afternoon drink at the Domplatz. Read more »
