The famous square Jemaa el Fna is the heart of the Medina. During the day it isn’t that busy, but there is still plenty to see of the daily hustle and bustle from one of the terraces surrounding the square. In the evening you will find the square packed with hundreds of food stalls. Without a doubt it’s a great idea to have dinner at the square at least once during your stay, and buying that meal at the food stall surrounded by the most amount of locals is always a wise choice. Very close to our Riad in the old center of Marrakech we found vegetarian restaurant Earth Cafe. The smoothies are great and so is the food, we enjoyed an organic veggie lunch. All meals are served with salad, roasted vegetables, houmous, olive oil and homemade bread. Some of the ingredients come from the Farmolive tree plantation, owned by the same owners as Earth Cafe. Riad Diana in Marrakech
If you are looking for an authentic place to stay in Marrakech a Riad is a must. Riad Diana is located only a short walk from Jemaa el Fna square, the hart of the Marrakech Medina. I recommend booking a private taxi from the airport because you will definitely get lost if you try to find this place on your own. It’s easy to book through the Riad. MioMatto in Berlin

Recently opened MioMatto in Berlin, situated on the 1st floor, above the earlier mentioned Goodies and Veganz shop at the Warschauer Strasse, serves pizza’s, pasta, and passion. Chef Björn Moschinski cooks vegan at a very high culinary level. The food is healthy, delicious and presented beautifully. We hope people will start finding MioMatto, because when we visited on a Sunday evening we were the only guests.
Chipps in Berlin
A lovely place where we felt really welcome. The walls are anthracite grey and there is a beautiful open kitchen where you see your meal freshly made. In the weekends they have more than ten breakfast menus to enjoy all day. You can choose your own salad. At Chipps they understand the new trend of making vegetables the stars of the show.
