In Appelscha you will be warmly welcomed by owner and head chef of Herberg Het Volle Leven, Yt. After a long drive you can relax on the terrace and enjoy the view. With fields at the back, a barn and fireplace on the other side you know you have arrived in beautiful Dutch rural countryside. The inn is located next to national park the Drents-Friese Wold, which has a large network of hiking trails.

At the end of the afternoon you can already smell the preparations for your evening meal. Grilled eggplant with garlic, tomato risotto, fresh spinach and a tarragon dressing. The menu at the inn is completely vegetarian. But the food is so good that as a parttime vegetarian you will not mis meat or fish.

After a great organic wine you can start the evening with a salad of mihoen and green asparagus coated with sesame seeds.

At the inn they have six double rooms, two suites and a camping shack. Staying the night gives you the opportunity to taste breakfast! Hot buns, fresh orange juice, an assortment of cheeses and a boiled egg.

They also have room to facilitate courses and company training, which you can combine with a lovely meal.
