Restaurant Aan Sjuuteeänjd lies in the green south Limburg countryside, in the Netherlands, which is famed for its hike and bike trails. The restaurant is located in an old farm and has a great outdoor terrace. The kitchen produces regional Limburg dishes that are presented in a contemporary way.
The warm Burgundian atmosphere permeates through the whole restaurant and is enhanced by the hospitality for which the region is famed. The head chef mainly works with regional ingredients, the meat, for instance, comes from local farms. Most of the vegetables and herbs are from their own garden. Bread and vlaai (a local type of flan which Limburg is renowned for) is baked with spelt, which is also used for the pasta and ravioli.
There is also ample room for vegetarians, like with their special dish where beans are the stars of the show.
