The end of August I will visit Western Greece, also known as Greece’s natural park. Mountain landscapes, wetlands of unparalleled beauty, glorious beaches and countless islands. You can do plenty of activities like kayaking. The Messolonghi Lagoon has calm waters to go kayaking. Visit the wetlands, go birdwatching and of course I like to visit organic producers.
On our program are visits to several organic producers, growing citrus fruits, kiwi, figs, olives and asparagus. Organic winery Brintzikis Estate is on our itinerary to enjoy a wine tasting.
We will be staying at Socrates Organic Village Agrilia. All food originates from organic producers in the area. The accomodation guarantees an ecological stay. When staying at this organic farmhouse, you can pick your own organic seasonal fruits and vegetables growing in the communal organic garden. As well as fresh eggs from the organically grown chicken.
